About the Portland Kendo Club
The Portland Kendo Club is a 503(c) non-profit organization that is part of the Pacific Northwest Kendo Federation (PNKF) and All United States Kendo Federation (AUSKF). Our instructors, members, and family donate their time and energy to promote the art and lifestyle of kendo.
Our club's goals are:
To share cultural diversity.
To encourage respect for others.
To create a healthy mindset through regular exercise.
To build ones spirit and self confidence.
To teach the benefits of hard work, discipline, and dedication.
To provide a positive influence for the community.
To promote sportsmanship.
Instructors:
The sensei at the Portland Kendo Club donate their time and energy to teach our classes and students. They have a variety of backgrounds and experience, and all work together to improve our students' lives and kendo level.
